Yesterday, in Barcelona, we had the pleasure of attending the Demo Day at ENTI – Escola de Noves Tecnologies Interactives, a must-attend event for anyone following the evolution of the video game industry. This gathering has become a key platform where emerging talent meets the industry, and future professionals showcase their most ambitious projects.
Throughout the day, students presented their final projects with enthusiasm, creativity, and a lot of passion. We saw proposals that stood out for their gameplay, narrative, visual style, or sound design. Awards were given in several categories, including Best Game Development, Best Soundtrack, Best Artistic Design, Best User Experience, and more. It was a clear reflection of the technical and creative level being nurtured in the classroom.
At Laurel Gaming, we didn’t want to miss the opportunity to be part of the event. Supporting this type of initiative is part of our ongoing commitment to the community, education, and the promotion of young talent. And not just as attendees: some of the students who showcased their games have completed internships with us, where they’ve had the chance to apply their skills in real projects and continue growing professionally.
We love watching them evolve, take on new challenges, and bring a fresh perspective to the industry. Being part of that journey and supporting their first professional experiences is something that truly motivates us.
We want to congratulate all the teams for their hard work, originality, and quality. And of course, a special shoutout to the award-winning projects. It was a real pleasure to get to know your games and share such a special moment with you.
A huge thank you to ENTI for the invitation and for continuing to promote the development of the industry through education, innovation, and creativity.
We’re already looking forward to the next edition!
